Hi! It’s me, Amélia, and I’ve missed you! If you’re wondering how I’ve been doing, I’ve been swell, and I hope you have been too. I am back yet again with another newsletter. We had one more peek at spring this week, with a seventy-five degree day, but now I am back here in the office curating lists of the hottest things to do. Thank the heavens that Chicago stays consistent with entertainment and excitement, as we wait for the weather to catch up. The clocks have moved forward, and spring has officially sprung, so let’s get started!

CELEBRATING TRANS DAY OF VISIBILITY

Happy early Trans Day of Visibility! A day set aside to bring awareness to the discrimination that trans people face, and most importantly, the contributions that they have made to society. Starting with the modern-day Gay Rights Movement and extending up to the way our community stands up against the terrifying attacks from the powers that be today. While it is next Tuesday, this weekend, do not forget to hold the trans people in your life tight! Make sure that they get into their car safely, that they indeed make it home, that they’re having a good day, and hold their hand if they’re not. TDV goes further than acknowledgment. . . Be present for trans people, as they are so often present for everyone else. Below is a list of few places you can be to celebrate!
